Multi-Sport Come and Try

• Experience the excitement of five sports in one day!

• Try Tennis, Cricket, Soccer, Little Athletics and Volleyball at the South Australian Athletics Stadium.

• Build skills, confidence and friendships these school holidays.

As part of the Growing for Gold program, this multi-sport "Come and Try" event for children aged 5-12 years is designed to inspire active, healthy and connected lifestyles.

Held at the South Australian Athletics Stadium on Friday, 09 October 2026, participants will have the opportunity to experience a variety of sports in a fun, inclusive and supportive environment. The sports delivered will be: Tennis, Cricket, Football (Soccer), Little Athletics, and Volleyball.

Children will rotate through engaging, age-appropriate activities delivered by Flinders University Sport Event Management and Administration students. Families will have the chance to connect with State Sporting Organisations who will be present to support ongoing participation in the sport.

Whether your child is trying sport for the first time or is sports-mad and wants to try something new, this event is the perfect opportunity to get active, build confidence and have fun during the school holidays.
