As part of the Growing for Gold program, this free athletics "Come and Try" event for children aged 3-12 years is designed to inspire active, healthy and connected lifestyles. Held at the South Australian Athletics Stadium on Friday, 02 October 2026, participants will have the opportunity to experience a variety of athletics disciplines in a fun, inclusive and supportive environment.

Children will rotate through engaging, age-appropriate activities delivered by Little Athletics South Australia and their affiliated clubs. Families will have the chance to connect with local Little Athletics providers to support ongoing participation in the sport.

Whether your child is trying sport for the first time or is sports-mad and wants to try something new, this event is the perfect opportunity to get active, build confidence and have fun during the school holidays.
